Death Taffy Studios is a small conglomerate of artists who grouped together to share their talents with the world! It was started on a whim by it's creators Scorchie and Kisla as a hub for their art and crafts.

        Death Taffy is a name Kisla came up with during her first job when she was a night-manager for a local retail store.
        It'd been a late night with herself and a cashier trying to occupy themselves on a slow night. There just happened to be some discount, tropical-flavored taffy in a clearance bin where they were. . . and Kisla, being a sucker for unique candy flavors, bought some to share.
        However, upon popping said taffy into their mouths, the unfortunate employees found it was rather. . . hard. After much chewing and complaining of aching jaws, the joke of it being 'Death Taffy' came about, and Kisla liked the term so much that she began using it for account names for various sites. When trying to come up with a name for their website, Scorchie and Kisla were rambling off ideas while eating sushi in her car and taking a break from an anime convention. Everything from Rabid Pandas to.. well... some rather fail-tastic ideas from Kisla... they were still left wondering what to do.
Then the idea popped up... We needed something twisted, but still playful.

DEATH TAFFY!!

And so the name was adopted for the website!
